SUMMARY:2020 Pets 2 the Rescue - Virtual Walk
DESCRIPTION:During this time of economic stress\, shelter donations are down and shelter fundraisers have been cancelled\, but the needs of homeless dogs and cats in our care are as great as ever. Pets 2 the Rescue is a 1-mile and 5K virtual run/walk event to raise funds for Pope Memorial Humane Society Cocheco Valley and other non-profit animal shelters and pet adoption agencies across the US. \nDogs want to walk or run to help less fortunate shelter animals. Cats want to help\, too. Pets 2 the Rescue is their opportunity! \n\nRegister between May 8 and 31 for just $10 and 100% of your registration fee goes to PMHS-CV. You can make an even greater impact by making an additional donation as you register. You can also purchase Pets 2 the Rescue merchandise (t-shirts\, polo shirts\, hoodies\, embroidered hats\, mugs\, etc) from the Pets 2 the Rescue ETSY store (which will be up and running soon) to help —> https://www.etsy.com/shop/Pets2theRescue?ref=shop_sugg \n\nRegister by JUNE 8th for just $10 and 100% of your registration fee goes to PMHS-CV. SUMMARY:Tails to Trails Dog Walk and 5K
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, April 29th\, 2018 for the annual Tails to Trails Dog Walk & 5K Run in downtown Dover. This year we are featuring a 5K road race at 11am open to runners and walkers (no dogs allowed on the 5K route)\, as well as a Dog Walk at 12:00pm. The Dog Walk will be a much shorter loop through Henry Law Park for the dogs and the walkers who do not wish to walk the 5K. Come out and support the animals\, visit with our vendors\, and enjoy an afternoon in beautiful downtown Dover.  It will be a fun time for the whole family\, Fido included! Pre-registration for this event is now closed\, but you can register on the day of the event between 9am-10:45am. \nTo raise funds online as a team or individually please create a Firstgiving page. \nPLEASE NOTE: All participants for both the Dog Walk and the 5K must register through Granite State Racing\, NOT through Firstgiving. Registration on Firstgiving will only be applied to your fundraising total\, it will NOT register you for either the race or the Dog Walk. If you have any questions please email mburger@cvhsonline.org \nIf you register by April 15th\, 2018 you will receive a free t-shirt at the event!
