DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a fun paint party fundraiser to help benefit Pope Memorial Humane Society-Cocheco Valley! We will be painting a relaxing and serene painting called “Aruba Dreamin”. There will also be a cash bar!\n\nThe health and safety of our guests are of the utmost importance during the coronavirus pandemic\, so we will be taking the proper measures to ensure a fun\, but also safe event. Please bring your masks as the country club may ask you to wear these during our painting session. We will also be using fresh art supplies pre-sealed in plastic\, with brushes that you can actually take home! We will not be providing any used art materials like aprons or paint brushes\, so please wear clothing you feel comfortable getting paint on. \nTickets are $40/per person with $15 from every ticket being donated to Pope Memorial Humane Society-Cocheco Valley. All supplies are included with your ticket purchase and no painting experience is needed. This is a digital ticket to confirm your spot for the paint party. A physical ticket will not be mailed to you in the mail so you will not be charged for shipping. Instead your name will be added to the event guest list. DESCRIPTION:July 25\, 2020 9 AM – 11 AM!\n\nThis time we will be offering microchips as well!\n\nRabies vaccinations $20\nMicrochips $25\n\n\n\nTo keep everyone safe\, we are still making this a minimal-contact event.\n\n\nPlease read carefully for full instructions –\n\n\n• Dogs only\n• Rabies vaccinations and microchips only\n• All persons must stay in their vehicles\n• Cash only\n\n\n\nLine your vehicle up down the right side of our driveway. A staff member or volunteer will come to your drivers side window and take your information. When it is your turn\, a staff member will come to your vehicle\, take payment and use one of our slip leads to bring your dog inside our conference room. We will vaccinate and/or microchip then return him/her to you with your paperwork.\n\n\n\nWe anticipate a high volume of customers\, so it is very important to follow instructions closely. Staff and volunteers will be on site to direct and assist you.\n\n\n\nFor your dog to receive a 3 year vaccination\, you must present their current\, up to date\, rabies certificate. Town licenses and tags are not acceptable.\n\n\n\nFor everyone’s safety please stay home If:\n\n• You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of\nCOVID-19 OR you have tested positive\n• Felt feverish or have had a fever in the last 72 hours\n• Experiencing any respiratory symptoms\n• Experiencing muscle aches or chills\n\n\n\n\nThank you for your cooperation and hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Dover Dog Howloween
DESCRIPTION:Dover Dog Howloween is a community celebration and gathering of dog lovers and owners dressed in family-friendly costumes with their canines. This unique event is the first of its kind in the downtown Dover area. Anticipated attendance is 1\,000 people. \nDogs and their people will meet at Sit.Stay.Smile. Pet Photography’s parking lot located at 24 Chestnut Street in Dover between 12-1pm to register and receive a number for the costume contest. Pre-registration will also be available at the organization’s website DoverDogHowloween.com. \nAt 1pm\, the costume parade will head up First Street to Central Avenue led by the Best in Show sponsor holding the official event banner. Between 1pm-2:30pm\, participants will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat at participating businesses on Central Avenue. Their participation will be marked with a #DogFriendlyDover sign in the window. \nThree judges will be wandering around in the crowd and will decide the winners of the best Dog Team Costume\, Scariest Costume\, and Funniest Costume\, and Best in Show from the winners of the first three categories. \nDuring this time\, participants and spectators are also invited to visit vendor booths located in Cocheco Mill Courtyard\, food trucks for humans and dogs and the beer garden. \nAt 2:30pm\, all contestants will gather at Cocheco Mill Courtyard for announcement of the winners. This year we are featuring a 5K road race at 11am open to runners and walkers (no dogs allowed on the 5K route)\, as well as a Dog Walk at 12:00pm. The Dog Walk will be a much shorter loop through Henry Law Park for the dogs and the walkers who do not wish to walk the 5K. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a delicious night out at Sonny’s Tavern in Dover\, and help ALL THE ANIMALS at the same time! Just dine at Sonny’s between 4-10pm on April 12th and TELL YOUR SERVER that you’re there for the Cocheco Valley Humane Society fundraiser. \nThat’s all you have to do\, and 15% of your food bill will be donated back to the shelter to help the animals! \nThere’s one catch though! This fundraiser will only happen if we get 20 people to commit to dine prior to April 9th.
