Our Mission
Pope Memorial Humane Society is dedicated to providing compassionate care and safe shelter for animals in need while strengthening the bond between pets and people throughout the Seacoast community. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned and surrendered animals, advocate for responsible pet ownership, and offer accessible resources that keep families and their pets together. Through education, community programs, and affordable services, we work to create a world where every animal is valued, protected, and loved. Continuing the legacy of Lyman Pope Jr., we believe that every life matters—and every animal deserves a second chance.
