Dog Adoptions

Since our goal is to make suitable matches between dogs and families, we start the process with an adoption application. This form provides the adoption team with more information about what our adopters are seeking in a canine companion and will serve as a foundation for the next steps.

We strive to maintain a low-stress environment throughout the adoption process for all people and animals involved. Having new people come in and out of the kennel areas can add stress to our canine residents, but an adoption counselor will be thrilled to bring them out to you for a walk, playtime in our pavilion, or for some bonding opportunities in our playroom once your application has been approved.

Our available dogs and information about them can be found here, so be sure to check them out and submit an application if one of them catches your eye! Our adoption team will process your application, offer additional information about dogs you may be interested in, and provide all the information you need to meet the dogs!

Adoption FAQs

  • How to I start the adoption process? Complete an application online or during our walk-in hours.
  • Can I meet the animals before I submit an application? Most of our cats and small animals can be met prior to completing an adoption application. We welcome you to visit during our open hours! For dog adoptions, we do require an approved application before meet-and-greets.
  • Is there a fee to submit an adoption application? No! The adoption application is free and non-committal. It’s just a tool we use to make the adoption process seamless, while ensuring a great match for you and your new pet.
  • I don’t see an animal I’m interested in. Should I still complete an application? Yes! We encourage you to complete an application in advance. You never know when a pet will catch your eye next time you visit our site, and having an approved application will expedite the process for you.
  • I still have questions. How can I contact someone? Email is the fastest form of communication right now. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions!
