Safe Pets is a unique program offered by PMHS for residents of Strafford County.

As an alternative to surrendering a pet, Safe Pets provides a temporary safety net for pets when their owners find themselves in a time of transition.

Safe Pets are housed both in shelter and/or placed in foster care. Safe Pets is on a case-by-case basis and is based off of avail kennel space for your pet(s).
