Senior pets + senior humans = a perfect match!

Our Seniors for Seniors adoption program helps match a perfect senior furry friend for seniors who want to enjoy and love a mature pet without all the energy and training involved with adopting a young active animal. Younger puppies and kittens require more physical daily activities (running/walking/playing), human socialization and much more daily training than a calm and wise senior animal. Senior pets are more mellow, affectionate, and well behaved. Super sweeties! They will be your loyal best friend and loving companion!

The adoption process for seniors is like our standard adoption process. However, if you are 65+ years of age, we have a reduced adoption fee for you! For dogs 10 and older, the adoption fee is $60 – For cats 10 and older, the adoption fee is $20. 

*PMHS-CV may also base animal’s that qualify off of their temperament and history!
