Giving Tuesday FAQs

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about shopping, Giving Tuesday is about giving back—uniting people everywhere to support causes close to their hearts.

At Pope Memorial Humane Society, Giving Tuesday is one of our biggest opportunities to raise critical funds for the animals who need us most. From lifesaving medical care to daily food, shelter, and love, every gift made on this day helps us continue to provide second chances.

Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing all the ways you can get involved this year, from donating to spreading the word and helping us unlock special matches. Together, we can make this Giving Tuesday our most impactful yet—for the animals, and for the community that loves them.
